The South Carolina Department of Education has approved Spartanburg Preparatory School to utilize E-Learning Days during the school year in the event of inclement weather. By utilizing E-Learning Days, we are able to count them as a regular instructional day, which will not need to be made up during the school year. Thank you for partnering with us on E-Learning Days by ensuring that your child completes their assignments. Should your child be unable to complete assignments due to loss of power or internet, they will have 5 days upon the return of school to turn their work in. Assignments may be graded for participation, completion, or accuracy, and incomplete work may result in a failing grade. Please see below for grade level specific information:

K-2 Students

• Paper packets should have already been sent home with students. If your child does not have their packet, please reach out to the teacher for an electronic copy. Students should complete 1 day of work for each day that we are out.
• Your child’s teacher is readily available to help, answer questions, and respond to emails during their office hours of 9:00-11:00AM and 1:00-3:00PM.

• Students will be expected to complete 1 ELA, 1 math, and 1 science and/or social studies assignment that is uploaded on Google Classroom. Assignments will be available by 8:00AM on the day of E-Learning.
• Your child’s teacher is readily available to help, answer questions, and respond to emails during their office hours of 9:00-11:00AM and 1:00-3:00PM.

Exceptional Ed. Team

• Your child may receive work from their exceptional education teacher via email.
• If your child receives special services, their exceptional education teacher is readily available to help,
